gone, but never forgotten
From the beginning of his career, Lane Frost had established himself as an accomplished bull rider. He was a National High School Bull Riding Champion in 1981, the 1987 PRCA World Champion Bull Rider, and he conquered the legendary bull, Red Rock, four times. Not only was he a champion bull rider, but a man of character always willing to help. He was known to say, "Sure, I got time" anytime someone asked for help. In 1989, Lane had a tragic accident at Cheyenne Frontier Days, which led to his death.
His memory is alive today in all the young bull riders that strive to be like him and his fans, who carry his champion spirit. To many, Lane is remembered as the epitome of an American cowboy. This year, 30 years after his passing, we want to celebrate his life and legacy with those who love and remember him.
